Nationwide HPV Vaccination Campaign (राष्ट्रव्यापी HPV टीकाकरण)
From Ajmer, the PM launched the Human Papillomavirus (HPV) vaccination campaign for 14-year-old girls to prevent Cervical Cancer. A single dose of the Gardasil-4 vaccine will be given free of cost to approximately 1.15 crore girls annually.
Infrastructure & Water Projects (अवसंरचना एवं जल संसाधन)
The PM inaugurated the 4-lane Greenfield Expressway from Bandikui to Jaipur, Package 7 of the Amritsar-Jamnagar Economic Corridor, and Package 14 of the Delhi-Vadodara Expressway. He also inaugurated water packages for the Nonera and Parwan-Akawad drinking water projects to solve the water crisis in Rajasthan.
Rajasthan Industrial Park Promotion Policy-2026 (राजस्थान औद्योगिक पार्क प्रोत्साहन नीति-2026)
Approved on February 25, 2026, this policy aims to develop world-class industrial infrastructure and attract private investment. Four models (A, B, C, D) have been defined for private and PPP development.
- Eligibility: Minimum 50 acres of land and at least 10 industrial units.
- Capital Grant: Up to ₹20 crore for 100 acres, up to ₹30 crore for 100-250 acres, and up to ₹40 crore for above 250 acres.
Rajasthan Homestay (Paying Guest) Scheme-2026
To promote rural self-employment and tourism, the maximum number of rooms per homestay has been increased from 5 to 8 (up to 24 beds). The mandatory rule for the owner to reside on the property has been removed.
New Directorate for Economic Offenses (DRIE & EO)
A new directorate, Directorate of Revenue Intelligence & Economic Offenses (DRIE & EO), has been formed to curb financial indiscipline, real estate fraud, bank fraud, and tax evasion. Furthermore, the mandatory two-child norm for Panchayat and Municipal elections has been abolished.
Final Voter List 2026 (199 Assembly Constituencies)
The Election Department released the final voter list for 199 constituencies (excluding Anta). The gender ratio of voters improved from 909 to 911.

Record Tourist Footfall in 2025
Rajasthan witnessed a historic 10% increase in tourism with over 25.44 crore tourists in 2025. Jaipur’s Hawa Mahal and Amer Fort, Jodhpur’s Mehrangarh Fort, and Udaipur’s City Palace were among the top destinations. Chittorgarh Fort saw the highest growth at 51.01%.
Silisedh Lake: Rajasthan’s 5th Ramsar Site
Silisedh Lake in Alwar has been recognized as Rajasthan’s 5th Ramsar Site (and India’s 96th). It is now being developed as the state’s first ‘Model Wetland’. The Alwar Bird Festival 2026 was also held here.
PM e-Bus Sewa in Rajasthan
The PM e-Bus Sewa was launched to promote sustainable urban transport, allocating 675 electric buses across 8 cities. Trial runs began in Jaipur in February 2026.

Rajasthan’s Second Lion Safari
The second Lion Safari of Rajasthan was inaugurated at Sajjangarh Biological Park, Udaipur, on February 16, 2026. The main attraction is an Asiatic lion pair named “Samrat” and “Sunaina” brought from Gujarat.

Rajasthan C-Side Startup Summit 2026
Held at Hotel Taj Amer, Jaipur, this summit aimed to establish Rajasthan as a global startup hub. Over 130 startups participated. Startups like Kapxha Dynamics and Aignosis won top prizes for innovation.
Rajasthan Science Festival 2026
Organized at MNIT Jaipur, the theme for 2026 was “Women in Science: Catalyzing Viksit Bharat”. The event promoted scientific innovation and celebrated National Science Day.

Advanced 28-Foot Heavy Drop System
The Indian Army successfully tested the indigenous 20-ton Heavy Drop System at Mahajan Field Firing Range, Rajasthan. Developed by DRDO, this parachute system can safely air-drop armored vehicles like the BMP.
Vayu Shakti 2026 (वायुशक्ति युद्धाभ्यास)
The Indian Air Force conducted its largest fire-power exercise, “Vayu Shakti-2026”, at the Pokhran Firing Range. Over 120 aircraft, including Rafale, Sukhoi, and Tejas, participated. President Droupadi Murmu made history by co-piloting the indigenous Light Combat Helicopter (LCH) Prachand.
